Cavaliers Sign Free-Agent Forward Rob Kurz!

CLEVELAND- One day after Unrestricted free-agent Joe Smith signed with the Atlanta Hawks and only six weeks till training camp, Cavaliers didn’t waste no time signing free-agent forward Rob Kurz to a non-guaranteed contract.

     Kurz 6-9 foot, 232 pound forward signed a one year non-guaranteed contract, which means, he will come onto training camp with out being guaranteed a spot on the roster. Kurz averaged 3.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, .5 blocks in 11 minutes per game last season with the Warriors.

     To help create the competition the Cavaliers have also signed free-agent canter Darryl Watkins to a training camp contract. Plus the Cavaliers are soon to sign 2nd round rookie draft pick Danny Green.

     Durning training camp, Kurz, Watkins and Green will be giving it their all to fill the last two roster spots with the Cavaliers.
