Cleveland Cavaliers Goes For The Moon!

CLEVELAND- Now that the Cleveland Cavaliers have their star in Cleveland the are reaching for the Moon. Catching everyone by surprise General Manager Danny Ferry and the Cavs have signed Miami Heat restricted free agent Jamario Moon to a offer sheet. Starting Monday after Miami receive the paperwork, they will have seven day to match the offer to keep Moon on the team.
The Cavaliers have to options to use in order to sign Moon. Either they can use the $3.2 Million they have left of their mid-level exception or their full $2 million bi-annual exception. Keep in mind Offer sheet must be two years in length, but not both years have to be guaranteed.
Moon 6-foot-8, 205 pound small forward has averaged 7.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 26.8 minutes per game for his career. Moon’s ability and defense in the small forward position should work nicely in combination of the Anthony Parker signing.
