Orlando Magic’s Anthony Johnson Is Talking Trash!

CHARLESTON, S.C.- Let the war of word begin as Orlando Magic’s Anthony Johnson throws the first round of trash talk. Johnson, who is in South Carolina for summer baseball camps and some rounds of golf, took a time out to speak with the Post and Courier of Charleston to share his feeling about the Cleveland Cavaliers acquiring NBA super-star Shaquille O’Neal saying;
“Shaq is always a force to be reckoned with,” said Johnson, the veteran Orlando point guard and former College of Charleston and Stall High School standout. “But he’s slowing down quite a bit, and it doesn’t really change things with how we match up with Cleveland.
“. . . We’re a pick-and-roll team, and Shaq is not a pick-and-roll defender. I think the same issues they had against us last season, they will have again if we face them again.”
I guess Johnson doesn’t realize what Shaq is here to do. Last year when Shaq was in Phoenix they had their hands more than full trying to handle Shaq. Oh and I recall Stan Van Gundy crying because he felt Shaq was flopping. This already is a big match up that will be marked on the calender and throwing wood on this fire could be a big mistake.
